For those wondering, this guy used to be at CFN with Pete, back in the day.

I would not have expected Oregon on the list.  Interesting.

This of course has something to do with your DL and LBs.

I should probably pay more attention to Oregon since OSU is supposed to play them

They are not a "typical" PAC-12 team, especially on the lines.

Only issue with your discussion of Purdue, @MaximumSam , is that you again didn't mention Jalen Graham. I get leaving him off the LB discussion because our roster listed him as a safety, and maybe leaving him off the DB discussion because he might not be one of our "starting" safeties, but the dude will be on the field a LOT.

Bingo.

wisconsin has a defensive scheme that’s always hard to throw on, and talented players to run it.

I think OSU May be getting that kind of bump here. They don’t even try to fool you with what their defense is they show it to you upfront and say we’re going to stop the run in the quick passing game and we dare you to try to throw deep and see if your quarterback holds up to the pressure.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Agreed. Very physical like a typical big ten team.

Ya I remember I use to check their pix against the spread - that's how I found this place...well the other place.Think he still does show up on CFN.Was a guy named Zemek and another prognosticator. And of course Clucko the Chicken - and I wonder why my pix went south.I dropped that bad habit and found this one

Looking at the roster sure feels like he would get moved to a linebacker type role doesn't it

Quite possibly... Or fill that sort of hybrid jack-of-all-trades role that sometimes appears in defenses. He's still a tweener between S and LB, but in a 3-4 could potentially be the type that is heavily involved in blitzes and coverage, and less of an edge-rushing LB or run-stopper.

I don't know if Diaco has ever embraced that type of role in his defenses.

Hey if Iowa can embrace it I'm sure Diaco can
