...but it's not like they are going against Penn State. I mean, this is Rutgers that we are talking about...

fair point. but Rutgers might be better than we all think. and Washington is playing better right now...looked like Rutgers was about to blow them out but Washington has slowed them down so far this 2nd half...two 3 and outs now for Rutgers.

Washington hits a 50 yard catch and run TD. 14-10. We have a ball game now.

is this a serious question? isn't the answer obvious?

they lost the best passing QB in the country and maybe the best QB they've ever had in Penix to the NFL. they lost 3 WR's to the NFL draft. they lost literally their entire OL to the NFL draft/graduation/portal. they lost their head coach and huge chunk of their coaching staff to Alabama. they joined a new conference and have to scout/adapt to all new opponents and completely different style of play than they are used to in the PAC and ontop of that are traveling back and forth like 5,000 miles for these damn games. and they weren't a great defensive team last year and what little talent they had on that side of the ball hit the portal or the NFL draft.

I believe they lost 20 of 22 starters from last years team and 30 players in their two deep from last year to NFL/graduation/portal and you throw in an all-new coaching staff and a massive transition to the B1G with long distance travel- they were bound to suck.

it's not remotely the same team/program. everything has changed.
Shouldn't even be wearing the same helmet as last year.

Thanks to the UGA-Bama game hype, it'll now be the 2nd- longest streak of teams playing as top-10 teams at 7 consecutive years.

Florida and FSU did it 13 straight times.  The Dawgs and Tide are just halfway there.  I had quickly looked up a few good-at-the-same-time rivalries, and OSU-UM did it maybe 6 straight times in the 70s.  But I didn't know the official 2nd-longest streak until today.

What makes the record even more impressive is that it was the last regular season game of each season, plus 2 bowls in which one beat the other and they were both still in the top 10.

It's absurd.

Crazy finish.   Replay is killing the game.

I honestly couldn’t tell what happened but I didn’t think there was enough to overturn it.

Gun to my head I thought the VT kid caught it and the Miami kid swiped it and knocked it loose after he had completed the catch but I don’t feel super strongly about that.

A game ending on a replay call sucks.

Bierhaus Maisschäler in Lincoln will have Peacock and the game this morning

They just happen to be celebrating Octoberfest

A game ending on a replay call sucks.
Do prefer a game ender on a clearly bad call that could not be reversed or reviewed?
