I was looking it over and noticed Liberty was ranked between USC and Texas.  Would any of you pick the Flames to beat either of them if they were to play tomorrow?

Also, wtf is up with the BYU QB's stock photo?  It looks like he's computer-animated:

Clemson has now been ranked in the top five for 50 consecutive weeks, the longest active streak in college football and the third-longest streak in the history of the AP poll.

The Tigers reached No. 4 on Nov. 5, 2017, and have been in the top five ever since. The longest streak of top-five rankings belongs, of course, to Alabama.

The Crimson Tide's record streak was snapped last year at 68 consecutive polls.

The second-longest run of top-five appearances is Miami's streak of 55 from 2000-03.

Do we not favor Liberty because they are a tiny school with little football tradition or because we haven't watched them?

For me, I'm going with both.

I ASSUME Liberty linemen are significantly smaller that those at USC/UT.  It would like say a battery team, Appy State, beating some Blue Blood, simply not going to happen, ever.

Liberty Biberty has played at Syracuse and at Va Tech

other than that, no one

they may be a solid team, just nothing to go on

With the open zippers, maybe "Flames" is a reference to the burning sensation when they pee?

did not know about those streaks. last weeks polls put alabama's streak of being ranked #1 during the year at 13 straight years.
