And the Michiganders Shall Spoil Perfection (SOC 10/5/19)
« on: October 05, 2019, 08:12:28 AM »
It was cold as hell this morning and I am absolutely here for it.  No more of this 94 degrees in October nonsense driving everyone crazy.  A big pot of chili will go on this afternoon, people are coming over for the game, I only have soccer games in the A.M.  It's a nice day, is what I'm saying.

It's nice here also, mostly clear and the heat has broken, oddly without a rain front coming through.

We're headed to a farmer's market once the wife rises.

Football season is especially nice now that I live where dreaded winter is not so dreaded.

Headed to Lincoln soon with a good friend that graduated from Northwestern.  He's wearing purple.

Going to the usual tailgate.  I have a cooler packed with skinless brats, cheese, kraut, onions, and plenty of beer.

Meeting my daughter at the tailgate, she will be attending the game with me.

Weather looks to be good, a bit windy, but clearing from the rain this morning.  Clear and 68 at kickoff.

That sounds great.  I was almost tempted to go to the game tonight.

That was a pretty fun game - glad for our SOS but also glad for Fickell, who has Cincy on the up and up.

Better to play when the Canadian winds are swirling than in Dante's 9 circles

A rare early start today for vball.   I hope the girls are awake.  I'll only have one substitute player on the roster today.

Gotta be close to finishing the landscaping too.  I see they are all but finished w the pavers and firepit.   Will be nice to see the sod go down.  Stamp out the dust.

I remember some years in Cincy when the winds of November would come early.
