B. I am unconvinced Taylor deserves it. The hype is helping him.
I dunno Taylors numbers don't lie, they have to quit handing it to QB's every year.Conferences can give their MVP's to them.Chase sans the infractions would have been a good pick.Depends on Lamb's numbers and not familiar with Brown. No denying JB is having a season though

The game is in Minneapolis, and Game Day is coming.
I saw that. Gameday comes to MPLS, but only when Wisconsin comes too. That's how I'm looking at it. :)

The mediots claim it's Burrow's all the way.

In "other news", Tennessee is bowl eligible after that horrendous 0-2 start.  They finish with Vandy and should be 7-5.  Imagine how easily they could be 9-3.  But they aren't.

Wisconsin @ Minnesota is fascinating.  I am leaning to the Badgers, which in the past has often assured a Gopher win (except at Iowa).

Which B1G teams make the more important bowls?  There are a fair number of pretty solid teams this year.

Rose Bowl - Indy loser?  Or Michigan if they beat OSU?  Is this locked to the CG loser if the winner goes to the playoff?

Cap One - Huh, not very clear.

3 - It sounds like UM should move Bell to CB, no?  Instead of dropping passes and everyone bitching (understandably), just have him blanket WRs.
Don't know what I'd do with him, but I wouldn't have him at WR. His hands suck. Nice burst, smooth athlete with pretty good size though. CB just might work if he can learn the coverages and is a willing tackler. Whatever it is- WR sure as hell ain't it- his hands are terrible.

OSU will beat Michigan this week. Michigan will play in one of the Florida NYD bowls.

I think UW loses to Minnie, which puts them in one of the NYD games in Florida. Minnie will likely go to the Rose Bowl if they either a) beat OSU or b) don't get throttled. If OSU crushes them, PSU would likely get the call, and Minnie would get a different NYD6 bowl game.

So, OSU in the playoff
Minnie and PSU in NYD6 bowl games
UW and Michigan in Florida NYD bowl games
Iowa in the next best bowl game (Holiday), followed by Indiana, in the Music City, MSU, in the Pinstripe, and Illinois in the Redbox.

Nebraska might be able to snag a bowl, at 5-7. Maybe Purdue too, but that means they'd need to beat Indiana. I doubt they will.

I do not see the Big Ten filling all of its tie-ins this season.

Big Ten Bowl Ties, Affiliations
A Big Ten team will be in the Rose Bowl – it’ll be the champion if not in the College Football Playoff.
College Football Playoff Semifinal: If Selected
1. Rose Bowl vs. Pac-12
2. Citrus Bowl vs. ACC or SEC
 – Agreement for Citrus is for five different teams in six years, so no Penn State, Minnesota or Michigan, if possible.

3. Outback Bowl vs. SEC
 – Agreement is for five different teams in six years, so no Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan or Northwestern, if possible.

4. San Diego Country Credit Union Holiday Bowl vs. Pac-12
 – Agreement is for five different teams in six years, so no Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern or Wisconsin, if possible.

5. TaxSlayer Bowl vs. SEC OR
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. SEC

– ACC and Big Ten combine in the Music City and TaxSlayer, with each getting three appearances in six years. The Big Ten played in TaxSlayer in 2015 and the Music City in 2016, 2017 & 2018. It’s almost certainly going to be in the TaxSlayer, but no Iowa or Penn State, if possible.
New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs. ACC
 – It’s not official, but the bowl would prefer to have eight different teams in eight years, so no Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Penn State or Wisconsin, if possible.

Redbox Bowl vs. Pac-12
 – Agreement is for five different teams in six years, so no Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska or Purdue, if possible.

Quick Lane Bowl vs. ACC
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl vs. Mountain West
 – Agreement for three SERVPRO First Responders and three Armed Forces bowls in six years. The Big Ten hasn’t been in the Armed Force Bowl since 2014. The Big 12 is contracted to play in the SERVPRO First Responders in 2019.

I'm dying for Butch Jones to get another impossible gig.

I have no clue why Jones would be in line for any HC job in college.  I'd find some OC or DC somewhere first.

I don't feel the career-award push for Taylor and the Heisman I've felt in the past for several winners.  I think that's a good thing, but it doesn't make it fun for him.
