Yeah, I think if time is called for an injury, that player should be "injured" for the remainder of the drive, at minimum.

It's my impression the zebras are letting the pass defenders play aggressively this season more so than usual.  I saw a lot of manhandling that was not called yesterday.

As a CFB fan, I admire what Wisconsin does and how they do it.  I don't think I'd want to face them in a bowl game.

Stanford managed this route for a few years.
Exactly so.

Maybe a rule that if if the trainers have to come out and attend to you then you have to sit out the rest of the drive.  Maybe even the quarter.
Something like this is where I'd want it to go.

But the argument in the other direction,  is that a rule like this would encourage players to stay in and on their feet when they're legitimately injured, thus potentially causing even further damage.  I'm not sure I buy it, but I think it's enough of an argument to keep the anti-flopping rules at bay.

+2.  I love watching the Badgers do what they do.

They're my second-favorite B1G team, don't you know. :)

One ND player dropped twice flagrantly.  Then he hopped up like a soccer player and returned to the game each time after one play.

In the Texas-LSU game, there was one play where Texas has gotten a first down and was running up to the line quickly to run HUNH, and two LSU players hit the field at the same time, rolling around faking their injuries.  Then they saw each other, one of them looked over to the sideline, and immediately popped right back up.  It was comical.

Brian Kelly claimed the ND players were not dropping intentionally.  Maybe so.  The timing was curious though.  He said one was concussion protocol and the other was cramps, both seemed to return to the game after a play as I recall, and one dropped shortly thereafter, the concussion dude.

Whatever, I think if you drop and get tended, you should be out that series, as suggested above.

The first one, where the ND guy told him to get down, was definitely legit.  He was wobbling on his feet and then was taken through the concussion protocol.

I dimly recall both players returned to the game after one play, but I may be mistaken.

Ha!  Don't take it personally. :)  The Ohio State University is probably my 7th favorite B1G team so you've got that going for you...

Somewhat funny.

Yup, we were doing pretty much the same thing for the LSU game.  There were a couple of LSU fans behind us, nice guys cheering for their team and not trash-talking at all and we chatted with them some.

But after all of the LSU flopping with fake cramps, we kept on telling those guys, "Hey, if you need some water just let us know.  We don't want you keeling over in the stands and rolling around, we're hospitable like that."  And then, every time one of us got up to get a beer or something, we'd bring them back a fresh, cold bottled water and give it to them. They were tolerant but not overly amused.  :)
