OK, I'll bite.
A) Purdue, which had arguably the 2nd best offense in the Big Ten gets exactly ONE player on the entire coaches team? I know I'm biased, but that seems a hair low.
B) With that said, most of the individual awards seem OK. Nothing too "out there".....with one blatant exception. What the hell did Trace McSorley do this year that warranted 2nd team for both coaches and media? He didn't have a bad year, and he had better than average running stats for a QB.....but compared to a good chunk of the other QB's in the conference he is not even close. His stats were actually significantly WORSE than last year (when he also got 2nd team). For the Big Ten, his QB rating was about 7th, QB yards 8th, YPA 7th, Completion percentage 11th. He was only the 2nd best QB rusher in the conference (Illinois Bush, who played 2 less games). Was this some kind of "lifetime achievement award"? I just don't get it.
