The SEC usually has 4-5 pretty solid teams in the middle, and two top fiveish teams.  This year, the third best team is Missouri, and somehow that name doesn't really provide much helmet these days.  Fourth best is LSU, then Ole Miss, I guess, and then Tennessee, and then ... not much.

For perception, you want your top teams to be helmet teams.  Imagine the top four in the B1G were Purdue/NW/Minny/Maryland.  They wouldn't SEEM that good even if they were.

Hard to rank order Mizzou, Ole Miss, LSU, etc.  Ole Miss beat LSU, but can't play well on the road.  LSU beat Mizzou, even though Mizzou has less losses.  Mizzou offered UGA probably their toughest test, but then struggled with Florida.  LSU has the offense to beat anybody, and the defense to lose to anybody.  They're sort of a jumble of "okay" teams with some head to head outcomes that still don't say much.

Barn, Clanga, Cocks, Pigs, and the Nashville Nerds are putrid.

Auburn's losing to NMSU is rather amazing.
Wow, with everything else happening over the weekend, I didn't even see that.  And it wasn't just a loss, they got whipped.

Was half the team suspended the day before or something?

Mizzou struggled with Florida in CoMo too.  They almost lost that one.

They didn't want to be there.  Their second string long snapper was out.  The referees were in the bag.  The sun was in their eyes.

I watched that game off and on, probably taking in a quarter's worth of action in total.  Usually when you see those upsets of P5 teams by G5 teams, it's in close games where something crazy happens and the big boy team can't pull it out in the final moments, or allows a big score in the closing moments, or something like that.

I don't know what AU's problem was, but I can tell you they just got whipped at the los pretty much the whole game.  After performing reasonably well on the lines against UGA.

Freeze clearly needs to get his guys a better quality of hooker.  I just hope he's learned not to buy them over a university-owned phone.

I wonder at what point they try and measure that.  I'd guess some viewers stopped watching the first game after the half.  A lot of attendees starting leaving in the third.

Those are typically "average viewer" numbers.  Sometimes they'll also list a "peak viewers" but that's not on this one, I don't think.
