Purdue is now 3-1 against Iowa since Brohm took over.

Its almost becoming expected.
Oddly enough Jeff Brohm had never won a season opener at Purdue.

Brian Brohm is 1-0 though.

An actual 0-0 halftime score in San Jose.  Afa stuffed 4 times from the one.
I'm going to have to call these games "sixing" - just because it's half of "twelving."

"Sixing" is when the winning team has a single-digit score.

Notable "sixing" games are in 2011 - LSU's regular season win over eventual NC Alabama 9-6, when WF played someone and it went to OT 0-0 a few years ago, Auburn and LSU played a 7-3 game in the early 2000s, and Arizona's desert swarm losing to defending NC Miami 8-7, missing a 50+ yard FG at the end.

Ohhh, maybe it should be called "nine-ing" - as that's the most points the winning team can score and it be considered as such a game.  Hmmm, thoughts?

Damn, SJST scored too much.
Our closest 'sixing' game this week was WKU over Chattanooga 13-10.

No 'twelving' either, this week.  Closest was Liberty over Sothern Miss, 56-35.

Lots of unexpected results today, with Rutgers, Indiana and Purdue all winning.
I think Iowa is going to have a tough year, and this is probably the last for Kirk. Too much noise around the program now.

Minnie needs to turn down Gameday the next time they are asked to host it (if ever). That's two times (in their past two home games) they've been given a beatdown as the host.

Whoosiers/Ninnies prolly the best game in the Country last nite. And I'm not critizing Franklin for that TD where Ford scores, teams were jacked up in a close contest so they did what came naturally. But on that missed FG Franklin had time for a quick down & out to move the chains and get in range.Saw on a PSU board some calling for his head - dumb move IMO because he is recruiting the state very well
