5 turnovers.  Still early in the 3rd.  Did they practice with ANY contact?
Some schools really didn't.  It was obvious during the first round of games from other conferences a month ago.  There's gonna be some weirdness for B1G teams this season, before things settle in.

I didn't think any of the targeting calls were really targeting. They've gotten away from the spirit of the rule which is to protect heads and now just throw flags on hard hits

Agreed.  That one and the "driving the QB into the ground" are just the worst.  This sport is drifting closer and closer to "unwatchable" status for me.

I think that's a TD by the letter of the rules.

I hate that rule, though.  I've always thought a touchdown defined as "possession of the football, in the endzone" would be a better standard.

I hate the rule. But I got to agree with the officials on every call they made including they won they overturned.  Huskers are just going for the head or going to high too often
