X has often been used to represent Christ's cross, so even if someone is INTENDING to remove Christ from Christmas, they're not succeeding.

But in general I just think it's convenient shorthand, not intentional.

Why an x when a t would be more in line with the traditional symbolism?

I'm sure the christian religion will always be pissed about their indoctrinating children being usurped by a fictional fat man that just gives presents away.

Like the Christmas tree, the Yule log and the Mistletoe, Santa is merely a holdover from the traditional Winter Solstice celebrations.

Life is less stressed if you refuse to be offended by irrelevant stuff.

I could be offended slightly by bad comments about my kids or wife, I suppose, briefly, and then I just take it under advisement and consider the origin and treat that person accordingly in the future.

My wife will comment at times how poor driving doesn't offend me, probably because I'm a poor driver.

Why not the school board had bullshitted the parents into thinking you are some sort of an instructor that nobody on this board would allow around their kids

This is an example of an overreaction.  I believe I've struck a cord.

Also, you seem to have no earthly clue how the education system works, lol.

You have no fucking brains of what you speak/say and just can't help plunging into your usual lack of tact before attacking someone's posts
