Bucks more coherent on offense today.  Just about everything is a run, screen, or run pass option.  No reason to do other things.

28-0 Boilers...

I wasn't sure what to think after the Louisville game. A couple lucky red-zone turnovers for the Purdue defense. But generally a team that at least looked competent (despite getting severely outgained). But part of me worried that maybe Louisville was just poised for a down year, or maybe just had first-game jitters.

But now it's looking, after dismantling a MAC team and utterly DOMINATING Mizzou in all facets, like Purdue actually has a real, live, B1G football team here.

I'm drankin' the kool-aid... :singing:

Until that drive.  Jesus.  There is a great Buckeye offense hidden in there, but it won't be uncovered until they commit to being what they are, which is a team that can run the ball and not pass that well.

Is Purdue and Michigan the game of the week next week?

Purdue's first true "miscue" (granted, there was a TD called back earlier on both a holding call [accepted] and a premature celebration call [declined]). Sindelar throws a beautiful pass on an out route to Hopkins, who has it bounce right off his hands and get picked.

Mizzou with a chance at points here to close out the first half.

It's a trap game for Michigan if they haven't been paying attention.

Purdue is hungry.  This coaching staff is no joke.  The players have bought in and believe in it.

No argument. They look terrible.
The Purdue of the last 4 years wouldn't be brutally curb-stomping an awful team. They'd have shot themselves in the foot a dozen times by now.

Good men, appreciate the help, gents!

I'm down but not out.  I've had one Fest so far today, and will likely have one more with tonight's Texas-USC game.

Agree Mizzou looks awful.

I don't care though.  This Purdue team was awful for years, and now they are on the road whooping a P5 team.

It's more than this game.  Anyone who's watched Purdue under Hazell should be able to tell the major upgrade this team has had under Brohm.  You could tell in the 1st game alone.

Purdue is still sloppy and has ways to go, but anyone sleeping on them is in for rude awakening.
