Have a bunch of lamb chops I got from Costco.  I've never made lamb chops.  Ideas?

Wow. I get to participate this week and not worry about my house flying away.  Yippee!

I would do a ninety minute or So marinade, and do not take them past medium.  They have good lamb chops.  They will cook faster than you think.

I am disapointed that USF-Ill didn't break the penalty record.

31 total penalties (24 in the 1st half) 293 total yards of penalties.

I'm going to try to go running this morning on a semi-lame foot/ankle. Wish me luck. Then I might hop over to a local food fest for some lamb ironically.

Cook them like a steak?  Better grilled, broiled, skilleted?

Outside it's America...

Checking in from the East River Flats. Still raining but that's going to quit soon.

Good luck.  I'm not much of a runner but I did take a brisk walk today, so pretty proud of myself.  We moved near a dam and it makes for a good walking route.

I'd try them indirect heat on the grill using a medium heat.Haven't done pork or lamb chops but I do my steak this way

I've been running 5 miles per day, most days per week.  Today is a short run day because tomorrow is a 10K distance for my training schedule, but last night apparently I came down with strep throat (8yo son got it on Thursday).  So now I feel like poop and there will be no running.

Mustard as a seasoning pairs extremely well with lamb.  Either ground mustard seed in the dry rub, or flat out plain yeller mustard spread onto the meat, and then whatever other herbs and spices you'd like to use.

You could do them using any of those methods.   Since lamp chops are relatively small (I'm guessing you have an eight pack or something), you may be best using grill or broiler.   Even with the largest skillet, that's going to be a fairly crowded pan.

Personally, I would use my Anova (sous vide) device and then finish them with a couple minute sear in either a hot iron skillet or on a grill.

As I age, I don't broil much anymore, unless it is for browning of a topping or something.

Not going to see much football until nighttime.  No vball matches today for the girls, so heading to Cincy with the kids for fun.  Actually going to Pirates v Reds.  StubHub is your friend for matchups like this in Mid-September.  :72:
