So we paid a kid either 4 or 5 million who is injured, can't participate in spring practice or summer workouts, and may not be a full go for the start of season?

there's almost no point in being a fan anymore. it's actually worse than the pros where guys are locked into multi-year contracts. these mfs just hit the porthole and change teams every single year.
