Cardale Jones said that the starting RB would be "shocking."

At least that's what Tyvis Powell says that Cardale said.

I saw only about 1/4th of the game. In that small space I could not determine anything other than the Buckeyes seemed a bit weaker than they should be on defense to qualify for the 4-team CFB playoff. Is my impression correct, or does Minnesota have a top tier Big Ten offense?

I think it's both. Minny strong on the o line and Ibrahim is great. Morgan looked good at qb. Hopefully Ibrahim isn't hurt and they get Autman-Bell back. But also the Buckeyes were thought to be thin in the back seven and then started two guys at corner that people weren't sure would even play that much. So that is going to be a work in progress.

Impressed with the Gopher’s effort. I was expecting the Buckeyes to have an easier time, but to their credit, Minnesota was trying to win, rather than just accepting defeat. I think having to work for this win, will pay huge dividends for the Buckeyes, in preparing for Oregon. Felt bad for Stroud, having the INT, tipped right into the defender’s hands by Olave, but he did throw it behind the receiver. The Buckeyes covered, if you got down early enough. It was a little disappointing, not having this huge “coming out party” kind of win, that I had imagined. However, this team lacks experience, in a lot of places, so I have to give them adequate time to develop, before they scare people. With the additional time to prepare for Oregon, this tough first test, will be extremely useful, since the team already had a “gut check” game to begin the season. Minnesota fans should be proud, you gave Ohio State a real scare! Talking heads, saying the B1G is as non-competitive as the ACC, need to watch this game.

Re: the defense - the Buckeyes rotations were kind of bananas. Steele Chambers and Demario McCall, who were running backs in the winter, were out there playing meaningful snaps.
