Hoping someone can help me with this:
So my kids' daycare had to shut down their infant room for a week due to a COVID exposure.  Consequently I'm staying home with kids all day while my wife is at work then I'm basically working second shifts after she gets home.  Thus, I'll be at work Thursday evening.  Now, how can I watch Fox on a mobile device so that I can at least check in periodically?

This is going to be on over-the-air Fox, so bring a TV and tune into whatever your local Fox affiliate is.

if not, get a portable TV with built-in antenna as GopherRock says

I bought one from radio shack back in the 80's to watch Huskers/Sooners while on a bus to a Hawkeye/Gopher game - took 3 sets of duracell "D" batteries just in case.

Do you have Hulu or something like it? If so, you can log in on your computer. If not, the battery powered TV's are pretty cheap - as low as $50.

I have Hulu Live and can easily watch it anywhere you have an internet connection. If you are only going to use it for that one thing, you can probably get a free trial of that, or Sling. Then cancel on Friday.

Plug in the old Philco Radio,I'll be listening to it a lot this fall.I have 2 HD TV's that are 8-9 yrs old but not smart TVs so I can't reel in all of channels so i have an OTA Antenna......and the old Philco.Not buying another TV until one of the other two take a dive.It appears one maybe on the ropes though so before the season is out i may have plenty of games back

It's not video, but the TuneIn Radio app on my phone always gets me the local Purdue radio announcer broadcasts, and it's free. I believe it will give you the local homer OSU broadcasters even though it's an away game. 

The SiriusXM app will do the same, but of course you have to have a subscription for that.

the husker sports network has all radio apps shut down, but can get it over the air easily if I want to get the transistor radio out of mothballs

In this first game, I am really interested in seeing some of the newer players, like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, that I have heard so many good things about, since last year. I want to see how JC Stroud deals with actual game pressure, and keep track of his development, from game-to-game. There is so much fresh, talent that I want to see in action, like a kid with new toys. Will we get to see Jack Sawyer? How will the new LB corps perform, now that the season has finally arrived?
