But what if the Lions run the table, make the P.O.s then win in a rematch, ask LSU if that's possible.Well not Kelly but you know what I mean

Even with the loss, Penn State is in a very good position with regards to the playoffs.  They do still have some tricky games against Washington and Minnesota left, but if they do win out, they have a great shot to get the #5 seed in the playoffs.  That is a great spot, because you get to host #12 and then should you win that, you get to play the weakest conference champ.

There's going to be a lot of competition for that 5 seed, including one of OSU and Oregon.

and about 3 teams from the SEC SEC SEC

I'm guessing it goes to an SEC team

I honestly don't think so.  @Mdot21 likes to throw out his stats against tOSU/M and obviously jawing with fans is ill-advised at best but you can understand his frustration.

The record against tOSU/M is ugly no doubt but it isn't like those teams that he's lost to have been chopped liver.  Now in his 11th year at PSU he is:
  • 1-10 vs tOSU
  • 3-7 vs Michigan
  • 4-17 total vs tOSU/M

Yeah, that isn't good but who has beaten tOSU/M in those seasons?

His seasons:
2014:
  • 7-6 with a bowl win
  • Lost to eventual NC tOSU by a TD
  • Lost at Michigan (Wolverines finished 5-7)
2015:
  • 7-6 with a bowl loss (so a game better regular season, tougher bowl, lost to UGA)
  • Lost badly on the road to a tOSU team that finished 12-1
  • Lost at home to a Michigan team that finished 10-3
2016:
  • 11-3 with a B1GCG win and a Rose Bowl loss
  • WON at home over tOSU (crazy plays to get there but he did), Ohio State finished 11-2 and the other loss was in the CFP.
  • Lost BADLY at Michigan to a team that finished 10-3.

2017:
  • 11-2 with a Fiesta Bowl win
  • WON at home over Michigan BIGLY!
  • Lost on the road to Ohio State by one point, Ohio State finished 12-2.
2018:
  • 9-4 with a bowl loss.
  • Lost at home by one point to an Ohio State team that finished 13-1.
  • Lost BADLY at Michigan to a team that finished 10-3.
2019:
  • 11-2 with a Cotton Bowl win!
  • Lost at Ohio State to a team that finished 13-1
  • WON vs Michigan against a team that finished 9-4.
2020:
  • 4-5 catastrophe of a season
  • Lost at home to Ohio State (but tOSU made it to the NCG)
  • WON at Michigan!
2021:
  • 7-6 with a bowl loss
  • Lost at Ohio State
  • Lost vs Michigan but only by 4 to a team that was cheating on an industrial scale and went to the CFP
2022:

  • 11-2 with a Rose Bowl win!
  • Lost badly at Michigan but to a team that was cheating on an industrial scale and went to the CFP
  • Lost to Ohio State but only by a TD against a team that finished 11-2 with a CFP appearance
2023:
  • 10-3 with a bowl loss.
  • Lost reasonably competitive games in Columbus and vs Michigan
2024:
  • 7-1 so far
  • Lost by a TD at home to an Ohio State team that is #3

They don't even want to play OSU and Michigan anymore. They seem content being a step beneath.
