I think its safe to say Michigan’s defense bailed the team out in this game.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

Here is what UM did:

they SMOKED a conference opponent on the road!   Period.

JJ McCarthy on the season now....

1,615 passing yards, 71% completion, 12 TD's vs 2 INT's. Still has 3 regular season games to go.
13-27 last nite on the road, just sayin' >:(

regardless, I think he's still played pretty well for a young first time starting QB. Comparing his raw #'s to Cade's a year ago...he's been better. He's also been better just going by the eye test.

Michigan in the 2nd half of their last 4 games? 100-3.

Indiana: 21-0
Penn State: 25-3
Michigan State: 16-0
Rutgers: 38-0

1st time,PFFFT! he rotated last season and has had the meat of the order this one.Sooner or later he might have to go deeper more often vs stiffer competition.....on the road ;D.

he didn't rotate last season, they brought him off the bench and sprinkled him in a few plays here and there. that's hardly starting or rotating. he'd get a handful of snaps a game if that.

he will have to start connecting on the deep balls. it's been very frustrating to see- they've been close many times but just off by a hair. you'd think eventually that would start to click.
