With Dylan McCaffery breaking his clavicle, honestly, I think the ideal kind of gameplan is 20-0 with Shea sitting on the bench before the end of the 1st.
There aren't many ways to instantly downgrade Michigan's season. Now that Dylan is out, let's keep those odds lower than low and sit Shea as soon as possible.

Michigan could destroy them 77-0 like they did two years ago if they want to and still might do that anyway, considering how they have blown out teams this year. I expect a lot of running plays to get the game over with relatively quickly and the defense to not allow a 1st down so long at least as the starters are in, similar to 2 years ago.

It'll be a good game to get the backups significant reps, particularly with Peters becoming the backup QB now.

When do you think Peters will go in? (When do you want him to?)

I would say at whatever point UM get up 3 scores you play him the rest of the game.  Hell, start him for all it likely matters though.

I say you wait until the Scarlet Knights are up by three scores.

With Dylan McCaffery breaking his clavicle.
The entire Michigan 1st and 2nd team could break all their clavicles, and what difference would it make this week?

If the objective were just to defeat the Scarlet Knights, then sure.

you play Shea and Higdon the first 3-4 series. Once the score is 24-0 or 28-0, you pull them and the starting OL and unload the bench.

Play the first string for the 1st quarter, second string for the second quarter. Third for the third and then any 11 fans that want to try out as walk-ons for next year in the fourth. Leave the third string defense in for the fourth to preserve the shutout.
