If they're worse than 8-4, out on his ass.

If they're 8-4, I'd maybe still like a firing, but can see holding off.

But a real shitass game all around.

Blown out by ND and Iowa, and presuming a loss to Minnesota at home to put them at 8-4. How can that be acceptable?

I hear your arguments SFBadger96 and BayareaBadger. We do not know how much Iowa or Wisconsin invests in NIL. However, I think Iowa adapted to NIL before Wisconsin, If this is the first year Wisconsin was more robustly invested in NIL you can see the improvement, already. Not every school has Mark Cuban financially supporting its sports program. Plus, the people of Wisconsin invest in shares in the Green Bay Packers, which is an NIL of its own.

Ordinary Wisconsin residents and ex-patriots are tapped out more than ordinary Iowans. If you really want to be serious about raising NIL money, get the Wisconsin legislature to add a two penny per can of beer NIL sales tax and watch NIL grow the Badgers into the big time, year-after-year.

In 2023, the Badgers were 7-6 / 5-4.
In 2024, The Badgers were 5-7
In 2025, the Badgers were 4-8

There has been a great deal of improvement in 2026, and the scheduling Gods softened the November 2026 schedule. My math says that 8-4 is better than all the above Luke Fickell season records, and on a percentage basis 66.7% is better than Barry Alvarez's 61% career winning percentage at Wisconsin.

Kirk Ferentz has a 50% winning percentage against Wisconsin.

Barry Alvarez had a 35.7% winning percentage against Iowa.

Paul Chryst had a 71.4% winning percentage against Iowa, and an overall 72.0% winning percentage. He was winning more than Barry Alvarez.

Luke Fickell has a 0.0% winning percentage against Iowa, and an overall winning percentage of 47.7%.

It's weird they fired Paul Chryst, and I am wondering why they fired him. Paul Chryst's record at Wisconsin:
