Good Post but that applies to a lot of these kids - young,dumb and full of C**. Sometimes their actions come from parenting/coaching other times they're just caught up in unrestrained enthusiasm in the moment.But someone has to reign them in and point them in the right direction and proper sportsman ship before things spiral down into the bloods vs the crips type of crap

Not a high IQ player is where I'm leaning. it's not an personal IQ insult, but a football IQ assessment. There's athletic talent and then there's guys that can see and feel the game and I don't see it with him.

The second point, i think this is why Denard and Webb are speaking out. Everyone is quick to trash offensive play calling (myself included before now). What if they are calling plays to involve the tight ends more and Underwood is the one choosing not to? The flaw I see is that he can't read defenses. Again, that could definitely be an experience thing, but his overall football IQ right now is a red flag from my seat. Experience will get him further, but I'm starting to believe his ceiling is much lower that preseason expectations and a huge check said it was. 

Now with that being said, i still hate constantly running on 1st and 2nd down over and over.  That's why I'd love to know when and where the 16 RPOs were at, which we'll never know.

To me it is simple. he is physically, talented and gifted, but very inexperienced.

he will continue to improve at reading defenses and using the pass to beat teams   

in the meantime, Michigan is still dangerous because they’re so good at running the ball

Including Underwood, he can move the chains by shaking takles and taking off. How to you chart/plan for broken plays? The downside of course is injury and every team always has at least one Kamikaze - ALWAYS. Who doesn't care if you''re Marino,Elway,Brady or Mahomes(how does Montana always seem forgotten :017:) he's coming for you
