Wisconsin was held to 17 points vs Purdue and 24 vs Illinois, I'm pretty sure they are over 30 every other game.

I think UM's defense is definitely good enough to hold them to under 24.

Can UM's offense get to 24? I don't know. maybe. The run game has improved, can Peters, who's still pretty inexperienced make some throws to keep the chains moving?

I'm smelling a low scoring game.

Both junior safety D'Cota Dixon and freshman center Tyler Biadasz were listed as questionable on Monday.

Dixon (leg) did not play in last Saturday's 38-14 win over Iowa. He has 46 tackles, 3.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one interception in eight games.

Biadasz (leg) was hurt in the second half against the Hawkeyes. Sophomore Jason Erdmann filled in for Biadasz.

The Badgers have also ruled out freshman tight end Luke Benzschawel, senior wide receiver Jazz Peavy, and senior wide receiver George Rushing.

Sophomore linebacker Chris Orr (leg) will miss his second-straight game as well.

This will almost be like a big OOC helmet game coming in, except we all know OOC helmets don't come to Madison.

when's the last time Wiscy went on the road to a OOC helmet school?

I remember the LSU game at lambeau, you played somebody at Jerry World, TCU maybe? I'm not flaming, I honestly am drawing a blank.

I don't get why schools can't figure this out. Ohio State's never had much issue getting a big home and home scheduled.

1. I don't know what "Wiscy" is. If you mean Wisconsin? It's been forever. Wisconsin is not Boise State. Wisconsin demands a return game for any road game.

2. The only games Wisconsin can get with a helmet school are "neutral" games. None of them will come to Madison (schedule a loss). At least LSU had the balls to come to the state.

3. Of course OSU can get helmets to come to Columbus. OSU is a helmet.

Future OOC "name" foes include BYU, Syracuse, Notre Dame ("neutrals" at Green Bay and Chicago), Virginia Tech, Washington State and UCLA. Talks are ongoing with Auburn, Tennessee and Washington.

I don't really get this part, I mean, if it's a helmet school ie USC, Texas, Alabama, Florida, etc. I'm sure some of those teams don't want to a tough game, but I don't understand how Ohio State can get Washington, Texas, ND, USC, TCU, Virginia Tech, Oregon, Oklahoma to come to Columbus, why they couldn't play in Madison? The Bucks are giving all those schools a return visit. On average Ohio State is more likely to be ranked higher than Wisconsin but those schools are more willing to schedule a loss in Columbus vs Madison? there's got to be something else going on, money or something

I'm sure those schools all respect Wisconsin, and know the game would be a challenge. Maybe Barrie doesn't want to go on the road either for what would be a (scheduled loss)?

these would all be good games, I'm not opposed to the neutral field game, but I prefer to visit other campuses.

S&P+ (prior to the Iowa game) ranked the #6 in the nation.  So pretty darned close, and I'm guessing it only went up this week.
No. 1 now.
The Badgers have the nations #1 defense,

statistically I assume, but do you really believe they have the nations #1 defense?

I'm not saying they aren't good, but the best offense they've played is probably Indiana or FAU? and FAU is good, I'm not flaming there. plus add in the badgers ball control offense, it inflates the stats a smidge.

we probably won't really know how good this Badger defense is (on a national level) until they play Ohio State and play their bowl game.
UW has crushed the offenses it faced to a level greater than others have crushed the ones they faced. Is what it is.
Best UW has faced is FAU, which is now playing at a top-10 level, somehow. They get Michigan's No. 53 group.

Nope. King Barry would take his team on the road to face any team willing to come to Madison.

Losing in Columbus is not the same as losing in Madison, as far as perception goes.

When you have home and home games, there is no money involved other than sharing ticket revenue. It's even-steven, unlike the neutrals, which pay pretty big for both teams.

BYU got a two for one. Two in Madison, one in Provo. No money exchanged either way.

Just BTHO Michigan, BTHO of the East champ in Indy, go into the final four and play well

that would give King Barry the negotiating leverage he's looking for in home and home scheduling

Or maybe he'll just work behind the scenes to help add more helmets to the conference. It worked once. Heh.

No way. I'm glad that we dodged the Mizzou bullet. Thanks Nebraska.
Add Oklahoma and Texas. Beef up the B1G West a little bit.

Then, with Purdue sliding East, the divisions would be divided by Time Zone.
