I don't care how big and solid a kid is.
If he runs enuff and takes enuff hits in the Big Ten, it will take a toll, especially on his throwing by November
everyone needs to pump the brakes lol. he ran 8 times vs CMU...only 7 of them were actual runs- one was a sack. if he runs 7 times a game during B1G play- I think he'll be just fine. if he starts running 20 times a game like OU's QB did vs Michigan- then we might have a problem.

there is zero question though just the threat of his legs makes this offense much more dynamic and harder for defenses to defend. they need to sprinkle that in- and remind defenses hey you have to account for this- but they don't want to lean on it by any means. the RB's are too talented- Underwood shouldn't be getting anywhere near 20 carries in a game. But 7-10 a game? Yeah, that's more than fine.

agreed, especially if half of those 7-10 are scrambles

one thing to look out for, Nebraska D vs the run.

they gave up 202 rushing yards on 6.7 YPC to Cincinnati, and that QB gashed them on the ground.

they gave up 119 rushing yards on 26 carries (4.6 YPC) to Akron's running backs on the ground.

they gave up 121 rushing yards on 27 carries (4.5 YPC) to FCS Houston Christian (never even heard of this team) on the ground.

Michigan ran for 200+ in the opener vs what might be a better than anyone expected New Mexico team, ran for 146 vs an excellent Oklahoma defense on the road at night with 2 OL starters out, and is coming off a 400 yard rushing performance in their get right game vs Central Michigan where they finally took the training wheels off the 5* QB a little bit and let him run it touch.

Nebraska better be ready to play some run defense.

The Husker run defense makes me VERY nervous

Matt Rhule vs ranked opponents:

3-22 overall
0-17 in his last 17

here's to hoping he falls to 3-23 and 0-18.

if Rhule doesn't stop the Michigan run, it's gonna happen
