For the entire season the Buckeyes allowed 16 sacks for 110 yards lost but:
  • 5 sacks by Miami 
  • 5 sacks by Indiana 
  • 6 sacks TOTAL in the 12 games prior to IU.
WTF?

I mentioned this previously but it hasn't been addressed: I felt pretty good after THE GAME because I *thought* that Michigan's Defensive Front was st least decent and Ohio State's OL completely stymied them. Not only did the Wolverines not sack Sayin, they never even pressured him. 

Obviously my confidence was unwarranted but why? Was Michigan's Defensive front THAT bad? For that matter, it isn't JUST them, as noted above nobody really got to Sayin prior to the BIGCG. I mean, 6 sacks in 12 games is GREAT! So did Ohio State's first 12 opponents' Defensive Fronts just suck, or were IU and Miami THAT good or did Ohio State's OL regress THAT much?

Hope he does. Kid is a hell of an athlete.   I think he will do extremely well.
