Yeah.  Spent several hours Saturday with the dad and siblings.  They're doing remarkably well, considering.  They're in the immediate aftermath phase where a lot is going on, planning for a funeral, family and friends are buzzing in and out, people bringing food by, etc.  In my experience, there's so much to occupy your mind, and the reality of life without someone hasn't really sunk in yet, that those early days are easier than the days that are coming, when everything quiets down, life resumes its normal pace, except it's not normal, and never will be.  Then the grief really kicks you in the ass.
