They are a good story.

Probably the best run team in the sport, or all sports maybe.
Aside from the fact that the Brewers should still be in the American League, yes I agree.

Guardians? What's that?

I'd rather it be the Rays. We go to their Spring games just up the road.
F the Rays

They put that pitching staff together on the 19th ranked payroll.  Which is one behind 18th highest KC, and I have been harping on about how f'ing terrible the bullpen in KC was this year.  A couple of amazing reclamation projects played key roles, that helps.  Bauers and Ashby, holy crap did they win the lottery on those two, if the info from the broadcast (and my hearing/comprehension) is accurate.

Tampa vs. Milwaukee could be one of the most unlikely matchups in recent history.

I love it that the money teams are sitting at home watching.

So is the players union.  Now they can say see the small markets can compete.  We all know its only with relatively young players who will soon be playing for big money teams, but hey every decade or so a small market team can compete.  Its why I no longer pay much attention to baseball. I suppose if I followed a college football team that can only compete every so often, I might actually stop following college football.  Though I am a Cleveland Browns fan, so I maybe not, except there is nothing keeping them from competing is a good front office and good coaching, money is never limiting in pro football.

Another Dagger in the heart of Cleveland Sports Fans

C'mon Brewers hate these up start teams that haven't had to wait 40 yrs between WS appearances let alone since 1948 for their last WSC like the near miss that is still the Indians
