For the record, I stated Beilein prior to Portnoy. I don’t ever get ideas from him. I just have an appeal for men of high character. If Marcus Freeman was remotely a possibility for Michigan, I would be very happy.

WTF, arrested?

That isn't just "inappropriate relationship with a staff member".
A "news" agency has a police scanner recording that suggests he was at the apartment of the rumored woman he had the relationship with (his secretary), and he had a knife, was suicidal per his wife, and could be found in The Well Church. I am not clear on where he was arrested.

I know Bryce Young hasn't lived up to where he was picked, but I have a tough time believing he is headed back to college.  Big news if true

That's what the kids call "crashing out."

Ooh, my little pretty one, pretty one
When you gonna give her more time, Sherrone?
Ooh, you make my motor run, my motor run
Gun it coming off of the line, Sherrone

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up for the touch of the younger kind
My, my, my, I, yi, woo!
M-m-m-my Sherrone!

Come a little closer, huh, ah, will ya, huh?
Close enough to look in my eyes, Sherrone!
Keeping it a mystery gets to me
Running down the length of my thighs, Sherrone!

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up for the touch of the younger kind
My, my, my, I, yi, woo!
M-m-m-my Sherrone!
M-m-m-my Sherrone!

Here is the audio file I referenced from the police scanner: Sherrone Moore Dispatch, Woman Claims Coach Attacked Her, Suspect Suicidal Over Losing Job
Now I understand better why he is being held in jail where hopefully jailers are making regular checks to prevent suicide. I hope he gets the help he needs, which might include a mental commitment / hospitalization upon release from jail.

Maybe some thoughts and prayers for the actual victim, too.

Warde Manuel fired?
I hope not.  If so, who is going to hire the next football coach?  A bunch of very political Reagents several of which don't give a rat's ass about athletics?   Or some firm they hire to do a search?  Michigan's president doesn't have a clue about football.  At least Manuel knows football and played at Michigan.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969
