Someone (again, who knows whats real), said that there was an all coaches meeting, without Moore, yesterday afternoon, to inform them that they were firing him.

That one of the assistants then texted him, which is how he found out, but UM hadn't talked to him yet, and that's what caused his reaction.

Then Michigan had to scramble to get ahead of it
Poor HR work there. You go from the firing meeting to the coaching meeting. Unless the previous meetings with Moore made it somewhat clear what was coming.

I think we should all stop acting like we know definitively how it was all handled. no one really knows yet. it's all rumor and innuendo at this point.

Good authority? My 7 year old knows to make that prediction. If a new coach is hired today, it looks fishy.. If it goes beyond 10 days, it's a bigger dumpster fire than imagined..
