M* just might have to bite the bullet & stick with an interim for one season.I'd do that rather than pressure into a panick pick and over pay which is what i hope they do :celebrate:

man they really bungled the hit. sounds like they were trying to wait on DeBoer instead of just go all in on Dillingham. 

Whoever is running the show is a fucking idiot. Obviously. 

I say just go get Wittingham on a 4 year deal let him stabilize the thing and get the next guy after he’s ready to hang em up for good.

And he can groom a successor - Tyrone Wheatley (current HC at Wayne State).

Bring Wittingham in now and make Wheatley the AHC/OC.

As long as KW doesn't get stupid greedy he would be a good addition with experience and solid attributes w/o the shit show baggage. Definitely scoop him up if he's game

Wheatley has been a horrible coach.  I think Whittingham is the best move, and where he is in his career, the athletic department uncertainty doesnt really matter, hell just retire.  But Wheatley as a successor is a terrible plan.

It's hard to be great at a place like Wayne State. He seemed like a good RB coach at Michigan.
