LSU commit 4* WR Derek Meadows was suppose to sign with either Alabama or Michigan today. Sounds like he's not signing early anymore. Recruiting is fun.

Also....this is pretty funny...and accurate.

Yeah, Gundy going 0-9 in Big 12 play was also funny.  I think we need some regulations on all of this.  I would love the NIL to be tied to contracts, but I also think it would be fun if coaches could be tied to the same double sided contracts.  Or we could just keep going down the road to this being the XFL

jump to UCF in a weakened 12

I think that might just be a factor of cable cutters being younger.  USC was very cool for like 5 years, but they've been otherwise irrelevant for 30+ years.  Oregon is cool, my kid wants Oregon gear.  Nobody wants USC gear
I see USC gear all over the place in Texas.  I can't recall ever seeing Oregon gear, not even once.

So we have contradictory anecdotes...

I see both Texas and Oregon here in SoCal. And a lot of Purdue.

I take that as California has great job opportunities for the best & brightest (Texas & Purdue grads) and that the bandwagon fans here like Oregon when USC/UCLA suck.

4* WR Derek Meadows to Bama. Oh well. I'll take that trade so long as Michigan steals their 5* OT commit Ty Haywood who isn't singing early anymore and is visiting Michigan once the dead period is over in January.

Michigan still has a couple big fish they are chasing into Feb signing day, most notably 5* OT Ty Haywood.

Florida was in the upper 20s like 2 weeks ago, but every time I log on, someone's flipped to the Gators.  Not going to obsess over any one player, but that's a great positive trend.

And you Big Ten guys, I want you to see this.  11th in the country is good for.....8th in the SEC.  This is Exhibit 92982842824742 why the SEC gets the benefit of the doubt.

yup, most of the recruits will be gone in a couple years but better to be in the top 20 than on the outside
