Wisconsin has a sneaky strong NIL, actually. They just don't buy HS players.

They sell NIL potential and that's it.

Michigan's NIL is apparently shit compared to other helmet programs
this isn’t exactly true. the NIL has been very strong and competitive for the top players on the team. what was lacking is the NIL money for depth/role players and the NIL money for recruits which was nonexistent. That is changing in a dramatic way. Sherrone Moore’s approach to NIL is vastly different than Jeem’s who was not really all that onboard for it when it comes to recruiting HS players.

Every QB commit is to whoever pays him the most money.  I think at the other positions there are some other considerations.  But quarterbacks are just following the money
QB is far and away most important position on any team. Without one you are screwed- as Michigan is showing this year.

I think paying NIL money for HS kids is a bad idea with the exception of QB. You take a swing and go all in with NIL $$$$ on a top ranked one like Dylan Raiola or Bryce Underwood every single time imo.

I'll agree if Dylan can scratch out 2 or 3 more wins this season

Brother he’s an 18 year old true freshman and I don’t know about you but to my eye he looks like far and away the most talented QB I’ve seen play at Nebraska in oh….30+ years?

most arm talent for sure

his last 3 games haven't been as good as he started in the first 5

playing UCLA's pass D might help this week

needs to keep improving and finish strong

Raiola is the real deal, super impressed with his performance as a true frosh.

Nebraska's got some building to do around him, but for the first time in a long time, I see some hope on the horizon for the Huskers.

yup, need an O-line first and foremost

that's his uncle's job for now
some tough luck there - 2 left tackles and the starting left guard are out for the season with injuries

also need better WRs - the transfers from Texas and Wake Forrest haven't been as good as hoped

obviously, an O-line helps any QB with time to read and throw
and a running game is a QB's best friend

get Raiola a legit OL and run game and he'll make all the WR's better imo.

I'd MUCH rather have an elite QB with average WR's than an average QB with elite WR's. A great QB will make his receivers better. But a QB can't be great without an OL protecting him. Just get him an OL and everything will take care of itself.

Absolutely. Wisconsin has its best set of receivers since Wilson had with Abby and Toon. They just don't have Wilson. Far from it.

they have some young WRs that could develop into studs
using the 2 transfers was supposed to give them a Redshirt season to make that leap
the transfers have been mediocre
