Nebraska has added a critical piece to their 2024 recruiting class with OL Grant Brix from Logan (Iowa) Logan-Magnolia. Brix is the No. 2 IOL according to On3, the No. 56 player in the nation overall, and the No. 1 player in Iowa in the 2024 class.
The Huskers have landed a significant cornerstone for their 2024 class. Grant Brix announced via social media that he has committed to Nebraska. The four-star OL has previously announced a top list of Oklahoma, Kansas State, Alabama, and Nebraska.
Brix took four official visits in June, visiting each of his top four schools. He also took recent unofficial visits to Nebraska and Oklahoma. Since this summer, the Huskers and the Sooners were perceived to be leading for Brix.
Brix believes that Matt Rhule will lead Nebraska back
“The biggest thing was the belief in Coach Rhule and the program and that it’s going to get back to where everyone in Nebraska wants it to be,” Brix said. “On top of the belief in the program, I have a belief in Coach Campbell and Coach Raiola to develop me.”
There is one crucial decision down for Brix and one to go. Now, he must decide whether to enroll early at Nebraska or join the team in June.
Brix is the fifth offensive lineman in the class for Nebraska, joining Preston Taumua, Gibson Pyle, Davidson, and Peters. Grant Brix becomes the 27th known commitment in the 2024 class for Nebraska. Prior to Brix’s commitment, the Huskers had the No. 26 class in the nation and No. 7 in the conference.
