CBS,David Cobb:

Julian Sayin's 80.7% completion rate is impressive enough on its own. What makes it remarkable is how he's doing it. Ohio State's redshirt freshman quarterback isn't inflating his numbers with checkdowns and swing passes.

Sure, the Buckeyes' scheme features plenty of short throws. But where Sayin truly separates himself is in his deep-ball accuracy. He's 20 of 27 on passes traveling 20 or more air yards, according to TruMedia -- an absurd figure even by practice standards.

---------------------------------
Pretty good take IMO he doesn't have deep stike capabilities of a Stroud,Fields or Haskins. But deadly accurate on the medium stuff and probably only rivaled(so far) in accuracy by Stroud

Any one hear anything about the injured WR tandem of Smith & Tate? I'm guessing Day/Hartline are resting them for precautionary measures not wanting to risk injury. So maybe getting players healthy for a run and not against over matched opponents but Tate hasn't played since Nov. 1st V PSU. I'm guessing they might want to get him some game snaps to shake off the rust.

And Smith just missed the 2nd half last week so he prolly won't see the field unless things go side ways. Like someone said on 11W it's slippery slope argument,so they'll be avoiding contact drills during the week for sure. It's also likely Tate's last opportunity to play in the Shoe, so it's possible he'll want to go if he can at least for a quarter and a cutain call. But Innis, Klare and Graham looked good in their place when on the field so we have that going for us 😎

I have no evidence but I suspect they are both done for a while, or longer.
