MaximumSam brought up in another thread tOSU having a problem running the ball.As do many on tOSU Boards
Okay the rountable touches on this right here

Interesting around 13:45 Paul Keels/Jim Lachey mention Day may be saving them for the end of the year.As last year showed having Quinshon Judkins & TreVeyon Henderson healthy at the end of the year can do - they ran wild

Does the recent track record of former OSU Defensive coaches help OSU retain Patricia as DC?

We know everyone wants to mine the next Mark Dantonio out of our defensive staff, but instead they've been getting a whole buncha Chris Ash, Mel Tucker, Darrell Hazell, Greg Schiano (not awful, but far cry from Ray Rice golden years), and more recently Luke Fickell and Jim Knowles.

Of course Patricia's only head coaching stint, he was essentially the Luke Fickell of the Detroit Lions. So that might help as well.

I suppose IF tOSU goes to the CFB CG Matty P would be a hot commodity and his stock never higher. Then he'd entertain those whispering sweet nothings

Interesting right here Paul Keels notes that Underwood is getting traction and his game seems to be coming together

from a 11W poster:

The RB room has a unique issue where the upper classmen are just not to the standard of OSU RB's, and the 2 freshman are promising but are young and early on in their development. It would be nice if Jackson and West were already 3rd year guys. Tony Alford did not leave us with a good room post 2024 but also Locklyn should have hit the portal better during the winter. I seem to remember we were in on a certain RB that headed north and he's having a good season right now.Up front Hinzman and Tegra aren't getting ANY push from what I saw of an average line
------------------------------
I agree, specially about the O-Line, Jackson and West will be fine but they are freshmen. People’s has the physical abilities but he doesn’t seem to find holes. The Jackson/West can follow blocks and find the seam(when they are there) but can’t really break tackles(FR.) and none of them ever seem to cut back against the grain. tOSU needs to sustain more drives on the ground and we are 10 games in and alot of Buckeye fans are like "we use the pass to set up the run". BULL SHIT they are whistling past a grave yard and don't want to address the 800 lb Gorilla in the room

It’s interesting for sure.  They ran decently yesterday.  But not great.  Kind of a recurring theme.

I till think People’s is the HR hitter, but has struggled with vision at times as well as not making the first guy miss.

Bo Jackson is solid.  Seems to almost always get positive yardage and fall forward for that extra yard or two, but in the open field, he does not have a breakaway speed to run away from the DBs.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Good take,RD has to use the portal more effectively - IMHO - it's evdent upfront - more depth, which is the great equalizer when the cold north winds start to blow
