hopefully, Ryan Day can find someone who can manage to score more than 10 points vs Michigan in the Shoe.
I would rather he find someone who can help him win four straight games against top 5 teams by double digits and an average of 17 points.

Saw a report that Hartline will be the OC. I'm sure Day will be heavily involved.

they had to promote Hartline or they'd have risked losing him. Hartline has made no bones about it- he wants to move up the coaching ranks and be a head coach one day. not sure there's a better recruiter or WR coach in America right now than Hartline, his run of elite WR's is just flat out fucking ridiculous- can't afford to lose that guy if you're Day.

They already tried this once, and Day didn't trust Hartline to call plays.

Day is best as HC when he has an OC that he trusts with the play calling, like Chip Kelly or Kevin Wilson.

Ohio State reportedly close to hiring former Detroit Lions head coach and current clown Matt Patricia as DC? No way this can be real, right? Omg please do it Ryan Day. To go from Jim Knowles at DC to a fat retard clown show Matt Patricia that no one would even know who tf the guy was if it wasn't for riding Belichik & Brady coattails would be epic. No way this can be real. Day isn't actually going to do something this stupid, is he?

Not sure how I feel about your thoughts here.
You were saying similar things when they got Will Howard.

I don’t believe I was trashing Will Howard. I will openly and willingly trash Matt Patricia however, as he absolutely deserves it. The guy is the ultimate coattail rider and is just like all the other Patriots Co-Ordinators from Charlie Weiss, Romeo Crennel, Bill O’Brien, and Josh McDaniels-  have never done anything away from Brady-Belichik. All of those guys’ entire careers revolves around working for the greatest QB & head coach in NFL history. What have they done away from them? Nothing.

Will Howard didn’t really move the needle imo. Let’s see where he gets drafted and if he does anything in the NFL. Ohio State was an All-Star college team. Lot of QBs would’ve put up numbers there. And I never once said he was trash. I always acknowledged Will Howard was a solid player, but was unsure if he’d be an upgrade over a Year II McCord.

I thought BoB did a great job at Penn State.

Who cares what he does in the NFL.  HUGE upgrade over McCord and took them to the promised land.  His accuracy and decision making during the playoff run was spectacular
