In a stunning move, Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly is reportedly set to head to the NFL to work as Pete Carroll‘s offensive coordinator with the Las Vegas Raiders.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel and Adam Schefler jointly broke the news on Sunday afternoon.
Kelly is coming off an incredibly successful season as an offensive coordinator on Ryan Day‘s staff with the Buckeyes, following a stint as the head coach at UCLA. He helped guide quarterback Will Howard to his most productive year yet, turned freshman receiver Jeremiah Smith into a household name nationally and helped Ohio State to a national championship.
