After the opening playoff game some Tennessee fan started a Go-Fund-Me to raise $1 Billion to bring Smith to Knoxville.  I thought it was funny.

I hate it with a passion. Hate it.. NIL.. fine.. but there should be something that locks players into a university for X amount of time then.. Hate it.. as much as he heightens OSU's chances to keep winning big, I want to see OSU fans have the opportunity to enjoy him the next 2 years as a Buckeye. Not jump around to the highest bidder.. And sadly, you couldn't blame him for taking a bigger payday somewhere else either if that's the system.

I agree. There needs to be a comprehensive set of rules for NCAA. It's changed so much I don't really care what the rules are, but they are rules and everybody is able to know them.

Looks like DC Jim Knowles is heading to Penn State.   Welp.   Easy come easy go.

It isn’t for the money- as OSU matched the offer.

Appears to me at least, the philosophical difference that he had with Larry Johnson around how to operate the defensive line is the primary reason.

Reliable sources confirm that barring last second change of heart, Jim Knowles is headed to Penn State. He has notified James Franklin that he’ll accept their offer of well over $3 million to be highest paid coordinator in college football history. Knowles is from Philly.Where there's smoke.......
