This is all hot take "credit/blame the QB" garbage...

Seattle has an elite defense and the Raiders have an elite... RB and TE?? Defense sucks. OL sucks. OL can't open holes for Jeanty or protect a QB to throw to Bowers.

Seattle was 10-7 with Geno last year, 9-8 the two previous years, as starter. He won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award in 2022 and was selected for the Pro Bowl. It's not like he was some horrific albatross hanging around their necks. Was Darnold an upgrade? Yeah, I'd say so. But Geno performed decently in a good situation (Seattle) and performed badly in a terrible situation (Vegas), as you'd expect.

Geno Smith is a decent QB. He's a long way from "that jagoff SUCKS".

I saw him get so rattled in Tiger Stadium in 2010 that he actually lined up under guard on one play.

Well, my AFC/NFC championship picks were correct, but I thought both winners would win more handily, and those were both very competitive games that could've been won by either team.

Five former Tiger for the Pats, one for Seattle.  Guess I'm good either way but vaguely rooting for the Pats.

Speaking of former Tigers with the Pats, Will Campbell was one of the most impressive OTs we ever had, and the only OT I ever recall starting as a true freshman and not getting miserably whipped like a tr. fr., but playing really well.  I understand he's had a good rookie season with New England, but eww.....I've watched their playoff games, and he has not had a good playoff run.  He's routinely getting abused by edge rushers.  Him and Stroud need to go to Playoff Rehab.

both my picks for the champ games were correct as well.
So, I have to root for the Pats.  If they win, I beat my brother in a bracket challenge and take first place out of 8 members.
If the Seahawks win, my brother get's first place

Worst QB performance in Super Bowl history?

This is the result of the actual two best teams in the AFC playing each other in the Divisional Round, and the winner losing their QB in the win

Kenneth Walker should say this is the second greatest accomplishment of his life, behind getting Mel Tucker $80 million guaranteed

We went to a party for the game. The host turned on the alternate halftime show (of course). I just read that the show by bad bunny (who?) was not done in English - 100 Spanish.

Wow.

Only in America.

First thing I said to Cindy who are these *!&@%$ chattering louts? Off it went like the 8hr pregame before. If CFB hadn't went off the rails in craptacular fashion I'd NEVER watch these ungratefull fooks again.
