Never paid too much attention to the Bears but was watching them one day a few years ago and got to wondering why they had GSH on their uniform. So I looked it up, George S Halas, founder of the team and what not.  Man's been dead 41 years, and they still have his initials on the uniforms.  I kinda think it's a little weird, is he like some kind of saint or something?  Or is it just one of those things, nobody wants to upset tradition?

Dood founded the NFL. Not just the Bears.

It pisses me off to no end that his daughter's initials are more prominent on the uniforms now.

nah don't post him. you've been talking shit about him all fucking year.

turns out that hey, playing starting QB in the NFL is REALLY FUCKING HARD- and that maybe just maybe the 22-year old youngest starting QB in the NFL in what is essentially his rookie season just needed some time to figure things out? the kid did miss all of last year with a pretty nasty knee injury, bunch more time this year with more injuries, and dealt with the birth of a child in the middle of the season- which means he probably didn't get much sleep or practice time that week- but yeah you just wrote him off as a bust like lot of the national media 5-6 games into a playing career at 22 years old. Lol.

Don't come back around sucking him off now that it looks like it's starting to click for him a little bit. That's some weak shit.

My first time seeing him play in the NFL.

I kept thinking he didn't look nearly as bad as FF's ragging made him sound.

Granted, he was throwing against Dallas' secondary....

I put that up for utee and Dak

I'd still rather find another QB than JJ.  Still firing way too many 99mph fastballs up out of the zone

buddy the kid is 22 years old in what is essentially his rookie year. missing all of last year put him behind the 8-ball. he was rehabbing a knee injury which means he probably didn't even get to practice much if at all- which obviously put his development behind a bit. had it been just a redshirt year where he was getting practice time- would've been different and he would've actually been able to develop some.

he was the youngest QB of everyone in his class and had the most development to go- Jeem didn't ask him to do a whole lot at Michigan. kid threw the ball very limitedly- started only 2 seasons and very few games in his career did he even attempt more than 25 passes in a game.

raw tools are there in spades- kid has good size at 6'3ish, 215+ pounds, a strong arm, and is very athletic. A+ human with great leadership and character to go with his athletic gifts. CKOC is the right guy to hone those raw tools.

I'll take your word for it.  I can barely follow the players on the Cowboys, I don't know Vikings personnel at all.

It's hard to follow much about them when it seems like they always play in the Sunday, Monday, or Thursday night slots this year, and I'm in bed by like 9:30.

I've caught a lot of first halves of Cowboys games this season.
