I'd rather get some Buddy's pizzas.

Might have to give up an additional 3rd round pick then

So, I saw a headline saying Shadeur had a really good game at QB.

The RUF/NEKS are the nation's oldest all-male spirit squad of its kind for the University of Oklahoma and the 2nd oldest in the world.

Anyone else notice how aggressively the NFL has ramped up is gambling reach for maximum betting offerings? For example, earlier this summer: The NFL and Genius Sports reached a two-year extension for the London-based firm to continue as the exclusive distributor of real-time, official play-by-play and gambling data to sportsbooks and media companies around the world.”

The NFL recently acquired a 10% stake in ESPN. No doubt the NFL will turn ESPN coverage into gambling junkie feed right alongside the already annoying fantasy junkie feed.

The likely expansion into in-game betting is what gets me. Betting on which team wins draws viewers into watching every play. Final scores can be checked later. But betting in-game, play-by-play, locks viewers into every down. Text 555 on the Chiefs converting third down, will be scrolling on the bottom half of screens while players line up on the LoS. It will further litter the viewer experience with constantly updating game odds and parlay or prop bet actions.

The NFL’s goal is expand its gambling potential until it will be like Horseracing or Greyhound racing where gambling is the sport more than the sport is the sport.

I also noted in the Seattle game that they had on-field advertising from the Washington Lottery. And then another one of the preseason games--I don't remember where--had their local state lottery advertising on field.

I know sports betting is big--and always has been. But having is so front and center as part of the official product just seems to me to cheapen everything.

Browns pulled one out of their wazoo as Andre Szmyt’s  hit a 37-yard field goal as time expired in a 19-17 beating of the Rams. Who had 3 penalties on that last drive  aiding the Browns march. Dillion Gabriel looked decent in the 1st half going 9-11 on one TD drive

Prime Time's Kid took a 24-yard sack early in the fourth quarter when he kept scrambling backward instead of throwing the ball away - fundamentals. Either the old man didn't teach them or junior forgot. He also got sacked 5X.

Well Browns finish the pre-season 3-0 be happy if they finish the season .500. And 65 yr old Joe Flacco will be under center to start the season at least.IMO the stable of QBs is better than having a healthy Deshaun Watson at anytime though, what a debacle that was.

Washington and WR Terry McLaurin reached agreement today on a three-year contract extension that will end his hold-in and get him in uniform for the regular-season opener vs. the Giants, per sources. 3 years, $96 million. AND he got to skip training camp
