1921: New coach Fred Dawson makes plans for an April arrival, in time to oversee spring practices.

1926: A record 120 players report as spring drills begin in Lincoln: 1, 2

1941: Call-ups to military duty begin taking a toll on the Huskers’ roster.

1976: Tom Osborne continues to voice his frustration with the backroom bowl selection process, which saw his one-loss Huskers bumped from the top-tier bowls in 1975.

I went to the game Sunday, run ruled Arizona St. 12-1.  Enjoyed it!  Might have to see if that $30/mo I pay for ESPN Unlimited will let me tune in tonight.

Seems to be the case the last few games for the Wildcat pitching...except for the game I attended Sunday.

AZ St. scored 8 in the top of the 9th Saturday, I believe, after being down 11-10.  The pen is the proverbial arsonists rather than firemen.

I might have to sneak up there again.  $14 GA tickets, and we got great seats getting there an hour prior to first pitch.

Seems you can buy and drink a $10 beer anywhere in Manhattan now, except the "cheap" seats in the football stadium.  Dumb as hell.  Have to leave your seat and go into a beer corral that has no view of even the replay board.
