Although they were beating the Angels so badly on Opening Day, that the Angels put a position player on the mound

They got eliminated from playoff contention as well. If you're looking for a team to talk trash about, this Twins team isn't it.

Tigers' Cy Young winner had a bad outing, they went 0-15 with RISP, and still only lost by 1 to LAD.  Not worried about the pitching, but getting more length out of the lineup, with arguably our 2nd best offensive player on the IL is promising to more consistency

I didn't think you had enough to overturn the home run for the dodgers, but then you also don't have enough to overturn that,

Never mind, I forgot you were dealing with the Dodgers.  I was trying to be rational, MLB is trying to make money

Dodgers wine and cheese crowd booing everything on cue.  LA baseball fans are doing their best to not let Boston and Philly corner the market on awful fanbases

That's one of those that if it was game two of an NFL season, the terrible call would be analyzed all week, instead it's just another bad call in a 162 game season that will be forgotten

Dodgers have like a 49% chance at going 162-0.  :57:

Was watching highlights yesterday, and noticing the Rays playing home games outdoors, I realized I'd forgotten that two MLB franchises will play their home games in a semi-pro ballpark (A's) and a spring training stadium (Rays).

George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa will host the Rays. Capacity seating = 11,026

Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, home of the Triple-A River Cats, will host the A's. Capacity seating = 14,014

Both stadiums are nicer than where the Rays and A's originally played. And both franchises weren't well attended, so the lower seating capacities play into the lower demand.

Sellout?  What's that?!?

The Rays had 4 days to Ray-ify that ballpark.  It's across the street from the Bucs stadium and a strip club (although everything in Tampa is across from a strip club).

I was going to say, at no point in Tampa are you more than a block away from a Hooters, outback steakhouse, or a strip club.  Hitting all 3 is a Tampa bar crawl
