2025-2026 B1G Basketball Thread

UConn is a scumbag school.

The B1G has 4 titles in my eyes.

UMd and UCLA were not in the conference when they last won.

I think Michigan will be shopping for some experienced big players in the off season.

I think their shopping is done.

They just haven't announced anything yet, because the tampering would be obvious.

The B1G has 4 titles in my eyes.

UMd and UCLA were not in the conference when they last won.

With all the conference moves it is a complicated mess.  All of the following titles since expansion were won by a school no longer in the conference they were in when they won it:

• 86 Louisville was in the Metro, is in the ACC
• 90 UNLV was in the Big West, is in the MWC
• 95 UCLA was in the P10 then P12 now B1G
• 97 Arizona was in the P10, now B12
• 02 Maryland was in the ACC, now B1G
• 03 Cuse was in the B-East, now ACC
• 13 Louisville was in the B-East, now ACC

Additionally Kansas won in 88 as a member of the B8 which got absorbed/merged/taken over by the SWC to become the B12.  

UConn is a scumbag school.

Given that our membership includes the school responsible for the biggest pay-to-play scandal in CBB history AND the biggest cheating scandal in CFB history we really aren't in a position to throw stones.

The Saint Marys kid has been known for months.  Not sure if Bennett going to ASU impacted it
