Welp, I guess we're still a football school....

The Gators were just disappointed that they weren't playing in the NCG.

Yeah, not buying that UF would be “just a .500 team” in the B1G.  They’ve got a damn good team and would have finished closer to the top of the conference than the middle.

Iowa loses to Florida 4 times out of 5, easy. This just happened to be the 1.  Crazy shit happens in March.

To the victor go the spoils. And to Iowa and second-leading scorer Tavion Banks, the right to break down what he saw out of defending national champion Florida.

On Sunday night, sitting at a post-game press conference with NCAA logos checkered around the backdrop, Banks held court. How did he know Iowa would have a chance to knock off Florida? Simple, really.

“The physicality. We’re in two different conferences. We’re in the Big Ten. They’re in the SEC,” Banks said. “I just know we’re more physical. After just watching the film and see what they’re doing, I just knew we had an opportunity to win the game.”

Iowa's leading rebounder averages 4.7 rpg.  Our center averages 4.0 offensive rpg.  Have fun with that.

Brutal Dunk.  Probably a yellow card issued.

But the tourney has gone retro....the crypt-keeper at St. Johns and John Calipari both in the Sweet 16 in the year 2026?

I imagine Nebraska will be well-represented, but Iowa hasn't been to the S16 in over a quarter century.  I'd imagine it'd be something like 55/45 in favor of the Skers

Well, my brackets are now thoroughly busted.

But... My team is still dancing right into the second weekend. So the important thing is still going the right direction.
