I'm gonna be so frustrated if Siena pulls this out and Ohio State's second round opponent would have been a 16 seed.

High Point hit some tough shots, but Wisconsin has itself to blame for squandering an 8-point lead. They took bad shots during that stretch, then didn't protect the ball at the end. Blew it. Phooey.

Didn’t think the “die by the 3” talk would be rooted in the other team taking so many more, but perhaps that’s ironic in a way.

Bad end to a good season. Such is life.

I would have been irrationally excited about how vulnerable Duke looks, so I guess it is for the best

Feels like shitting on winners while championing mediocre teams from power conferences is a real losing position today

How so?

The only power conference team that lost to a "winner" so far today is Wisconsin, and Wisconsin is far from mediocre.

We're 8 games in and all the others went chalk, with the exception of a 9 beating an 8, which is barely an upset at all. (And were two half-mediocre power conference teams anyway so it's not like either was a "winner").

Because mid power teams remain mid and undeserving, and even bad mid major teams are sometimes good.  But blah power teams remain blah, as theyve largely proved
