I guess I'm just old but when I saw that the NC would be Mizzou vs Texas my first thought was:
Big8 vs SWC.

It took me a second to realize that nope, this would be an internal SEC thing via:
  • Big8->Big12->SEC
  • SWC->Big12->SEC

SP+ loves Missouri.  I think a big part of the issue is still counting bowl results.  Missouri took it to Ohio States backups.  I dont think any non CFP poataeason results ahould count.

Granted its not like Missouri is the SP+ favorite.  I adjust the numbers if a team is +/- 2, and Missouri is still just #5 in the SEC.

Nice playoff run there, at least we didn't lose to the hated sooners a second time.

But wow, losing the big one to Missouri of all schools, that stings!  I wasn't even sure they had a football team??
