Big Ten projected to get 4 teams in, and Nebraska is the most veteran member of the bunch.  Plus 3 of the Pac 12 additions.

Gavin McKenna, who never would have been eligible to play college hockey before, and is the projected #1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, visited MSU yesterday, and is expected to announce between MSU and PSU soon.

PSU has the higher NIL package.  MSU returns the 2025 Hobey Baker (Hockey Heisman) winner, and Goalie of the Year along with 13 other NHL picks.

Either way, Adam Nightengale has earned every bit of his extension

if yer the #1 pick in the draft, don't ya get paid better than a PSU hockey player?

#1 pick in the 2026 Draft, not draft eligible until next year.  But because juniors in Canada get paid a little bit, they were never previously eligible to play in the NCAA.  Now they are, and the best players can get more from NIL playing NCAA hockey than they can staying in juniors.

Apparently he won Juniors MVP in his age 16 season, which is the third time ever.  The other two were John Tavares and Sidney Crosby
