It was relatively common knowledge without much attempt to hide it that Kiffin would've jumped to Baton Rouge last year, had he been offered. I wouldn't say he was silently campaigning for the job, but there was definitely some winking and a noticeable lack of denial.
I don't think he's against leaving for the right job.
As much as I don't like the guy, I've changed my mind on him over the years as a coach. He's good at what he does.....now. Still don't think he was so great when he first started landing major gigs.
