2022-23 Big Ten Hockey Season

MSU upsets OSU tonight.  They won the second game against Notre Dame two weekends ago, sweet Wisconsin badly last weekend, and now this.  I would bet this is the first 4 game Big Ten win streak for MSU since the conference sponsored hockey.

Also, after a rough initial run, I believe I saw 6 of 7 schools (excluding Wisconsin) are ranked in the top 15.

A once proud program is in shambles. 2006 is a long time ago.

Club hockey is pretty fun.  We used to go watch EMU when they played at the rink by our house in the late 90s.  They won a couple of club NCs in that era

Well after splitting a road series with #4 PSU, I think MSU has gone full circle.  We are a hockey school again

Despite the fact that the ref heard him and issued a game misconduct.  Not sure what additional info they needed.  The key here was that it was a UM/OSU player against a non-UM/OSU player, so the conference did its normal thing.

It has now made the ESPN ticker that the Big Ten agreed with the ref, but decided the game misconduct was sufficient.  At least the MSU player didn't respond to the racist remarks like William Gholston did, and found himself as the only one suspended for the incident.  OSU hockey now has their Taylor Lewan
