Matt Corral about to increase how many players opt out
only if he can'r recover in time for the draft
seemed to be a minor thing since he's hopping around on the sidelines with his team
Matt would play in the game again tomorrow if he could, not the type to opt out
my type of player
hopefully some in the NFL value that trait

They don't, by and large. If they did, this wouldn't be a thing at all.

no wonder they have trouble finding the next franchise QB in the draft

Hearing the X-rays came back negative so that’s good, but the outcome isn’t as impactful as the visual.  Seeing him lying on the ground in obvious pain and then come out on crutches is something that sticks in your mind.

The actual severity of the injury will be forgotten. Seeing it happen won’t.

Meant to post this earlier, but UW got to 9 wins again. Since I got to college, they've done that all but three full seasons (the COVID team wasn't getting there, and one of those teams backed into a Rose Bowl).

Getting to 9-4 is key because it's honestly a better baseline than a program like UW has much right to expect. The division helps, but a successful UW program is on solid footing when it goes 8-4. This is my belief. If you can make that a baseline and win a bowl (or do better but lose a bowl), you're doing all right.

We're not promised pretty successful teams, as a lot of us can attest. So I always want to savor a relatively good one. On Wisconsin.

They should ban snapping in the first 8 seconds of the play clock so that we get rid of the Hurry Up and Wait offense that is just to prevent substitutions, and leads to us staring at the QB looking at the sidelines for 20 straight seconds

Iowa doesn't even run hurry up

defenses just do it to slow momentum, not even to substitute all the time

I've seen that plenty of times.....the sniper got him!  Most often with ND and LSU.
